While he was out promoting A Series of Unfortunate Events (a movie in which three sibling become orphans when their house goes up in flames), Liam's own house burned down. (2004)
Liam has been in two films with Jude Law (Road to Perdition and Lemony Snicket) but they have not shared a scene.

Brad Silberling (director of Lemony Snicket) gave a video camera to Liam & Emily and asked the two to interview each other as the characters they were to portray (Klaus & Violet). Some of what they said ended up in the film (A Series of Unfortunate Events).
Liam has appeared in two films with Daniel Craig: I Dreamed of Africa & Road to Perdition.
Liam took a piece of wallpaper from the set on Lemony Snicket. It was a piece from Count Olaf's house, the wallpaper with a ton of eyes on it.

Hal Hartley has hinted at making a third movie to follow Fay Grim, featured upon Liam's character of Ned Grim, however he's said that the movie could be another 10 years from now, like Fay Grim was from Henry Fool.
